The places where I was cold
poured forth in radiant abundance.
You revealed the world to me.
You opened my eyes
by opening my heart.
And you taught me what it means to listen.
You showed me

that you know me.
We met in a former life,
one where there are no tears,
there is no despair.
There is only joy
and laughter.
And for a single moment
I glimpsed eternity.
